When the adult children of longtime clients called me about their parents’ move to a retirement residence, it was lovely to reconnect with the family. This would be my third time helping their parents with a real estate move.

I met them at the unit and put together a plan. We talked through what professionals could take care of, the costs involved, and what the family might like to do themselves. Every family is different, and I wanted them to have the information and flexibility to choose what felt right for them.

The children decided to sort and clear much of the unit themselves, with professionals taking care of the rest. They followed my recommendations for minor repairs and a deep clean, and together we made sure the details were looked after.

The sale was a success, even in winter. Being trusted to help this family again, now working alongside the next generation, made this move especially meaningful.

A father looking for a new home for himself and his teenagers had a clear priority: enough bedrooms for everyone, within a tight budget.

Sometimes finding the right home means looking beyond what is currently on the market. A property that had been taken off the market after not selling offered a layout that worked for his family and a price within reach.

I helped him successfully purchase the property, giving him and his children a home with room for everyone as they began a new chapter together.
